Mommy and Daddy have been brushing my teeth for awhile.. I wasn’t so sure about it at first, but now I like to help and do it myself! It’s tons and tons of fun! You should try it too.

I’m kind of sad that my curls are being cut off, but it’ll be nice not to have hair in my face any more.. can you believe that this is going to be my very firstest haircut?? I’m not quite sure what to think yet! Our neighbor works for a salon up the street, and is going to cut it for me.

I’ve been a little busy lately.. doing a whole lot of what you see in the picture above (snoozin’ in the car!!), but also doing a *lot* of other stuff — like crawling as fast as I can anywhere I want to go, getting into lots of places that Mommy and Daddy didn’t even realize were in the house, and also eating more food than anyone thinks I can possibly fit in my mouth!

See, told you!

In any case, I’ve also got another secret that I’ve been keeping, but it’s really really really hard, and Mommy finally said I can tell you! I think the best way to tell you is by showing you the card that I wrote for Daddy a little bit after Father’s Day:

I am so excited! I’ve gotten to see the new baby on monitor things and pictures a few times so far, and the nice doctors say that everything is good. Here’s a picture of Baby agreeing:

See? Thumbs up to all! The doctor says that Baby should be here around March 15.. that seems SO far away though! I can’t wait!

It’s a lot of fun to crawl over when the dogs are being fed and help my Kitty (Oakley) eat her puppy food! I crawl over and pick up the pieces for her, then hand them to her. I’ve tried eating it myself a few times, but it’s not very tasty. Mom and Dad don’t like it when I eat her food – I don’t get why not! It’s also fun to play with their water; I think I could be a puppy!

I can’t really help Chimo with his food, because it’s gone within about ten seconds of Dad putting it in his bowl.. ah well!

My puppies were at doggy daycare all day, and I missed them a lot and were calling them to come home.. so when daddy FINALLY brought them home, I grabbed Chimo’s leash and decided to take him for a crawl! We had lots and lots of fun.

One of my play tables tells me that “learning is fun!” when I start playing with it.. I agree! I get to learn my ABC’s, how to count, what color apples are, how to fill up juice cups, and lots of other fun fun things! Will you come learn with me?

Hi Daddy! I saw that you were unloading the dryer so I figured I’d come over and help you.. I’d be happy to climb into the dryer and pull all the clothes out for you. I’ll even throw them onto the floor, roll around in them, and show the puppies how to do it too! Wouldn’t that help a LOT??

So now that I’ve been crawling on my hands and knees for awhile, and cruising on my feet with the help of furniture, mommy, or daddy, I’ve started to try crawling on my feet instead of knees.. it’s kinda rough but it’s a lot of fun! How long do you think it’ll take me to get it down? Or should I just skip it and go straight to running??

Mommy and Daddy put a camera in my room so that they can watch me *all the time* – I feel special! Well, as long as they take it away by the time that I’m old enough to want privacy! :) Now that they can see me, they’ve been able to watch me as I wake up.. I could have told them what I do, but they just don’t listen! I love to wake up, smile, sit up in my bed, and start playing with my stuffed animals for a little while. We talk and play for about a half hour, and then if Mommy or Daddy haven’t come to get me up yet, I start getting really hungry, so I will stand up in my crib and start shouting for them to make sure they hear me through the monitor.

Mornings are one of my favorite parts of the day – I love to smile, giggle, laugh, toot, and eat!

I hope that I like mornings this much when I’m a teenager.. I know Mommy and Daddy aren’t huge fans of mornings until they come see my smiling face.

My puppy gets to go play in the backyard a couple times a day.. I really want to go play with him in the yard! I crawl up to the sliding door, stand up against it, and call Chimo over and ask him to let me out.. but he doesn’t.. what’s the deal??

Dad, seriously, if Momma gets me up in the morning, feeds me, and hands me off to you, you shouldn’t fall back asleep on the couch.. otherwise I will slide off your lap, pull the cord out of the back of your laptop, crawl to the other side of the room, and start banging your laptop’s power cord on the vent. It’s lots of fun! Oh, and even though Chimo is awake, he won’t stop me.. he thinks it’s funny.

Seriously, I’ve been awake for like 10 minutes! I like to play in my crib by myself, but it’s a lot more fun when you will come pick me up, help me get dressed, and play with me! Mommy, daddy, come get me up!

..like BLUEBERRIES! Mommy and daddy blended a bunch of blueberries up for me and froze them, and then they thaw them with my cereal.. it’s good stuff. But now that I have some teeth I can eat whole blueberries! It’s even better that way – they are all fresh and juicy and burst in my mouth when I bite them. I’m not sure if I like the skins as much as the insides, but they are good!

Over the last month or so, I’ve started to have *teeth* start to pop through my gums! For a long time, my teeth have been hurting as they come in (that is why I like my teether bear), but only recently have my teeth come in enough to actually be able to use them. Now I get to eat some food that is kind of hard, like blueberries. I still have more teeth coming, which means that I still hurt and want to bite everything in sight for relief — including mommy, daddy, the puppies, and the furniture — but I think it’s worth it because I get to try lots more food!!

Reading is so much fun.. I love laying on the floor and reading, and sitting on the floor and reading, and sitting on momma’s lap and reading, and sitting on daddy’s lap and reading, and sitting with Chimo and reading, and sitting with Oakley an reading, and sitting with grandpa and reading, and standing on grandpa and reading.. I just like to read!

My puppies get to go to daycare at a place called ‘Woofdah’ once a week to help them burn off some energy.. Woofdah just opened a new building, and I got to go tour it with mommy and daddy. I had lots of fun seeing where my puppies would be playing – I even got to sit in the big pirate ship and play with momma! I asked if I could go there on the days when Chimo and Oakley get to go in, but I guess only puppies are allowed. I was bummed! I am glad that my puppies have lots of fun though.

I’ve always loved my kitty-puppy (Oakley, she’s a husky) very much.. she’s really cute, and a good girl. For the last few months, I’ve been watching her really closely, and giggling every time she moves, yawns, barks at someone outside, plays, sits, stays, lays down, eats, drinks, and pretty much everything else she does. She’s been kind of shy around me though – she hasn’t liked it when I yank her fur really hard, or pick up her paws — up until this last week or so! Now when I am sitting on the floor, she will come over by me and sit down, even when I don’t call her. I love it when I’m sitting and she puts her paws outside my legs and rests her head on my lap.. I get to play with her ears and nose and mouth and give her kisses. In this picture, she put her head down where I could reach it, and I decided to check out her teeth and make sure they don’t need a good brushing. She let me look at them, pull them, and lift her lips.. she’s a very good puppy, and I love her lots! (I love Chimo too – he’s just always let me do whatever I wanted to him!)

(Side-note.. she is called ‘kitty’ because she kind of acts like something called a cat at times.. it’s a husky trait from what Daddy says. I think it’s great, but I guess some other people call a different kind of animal ‘kitty’?)

I think I have my Mommy’s feet.. they are small and cute! They aren’t big and stinky like dad’s. I hope my feet stay small.. but not too small, cuz I want to have good balance!! Oh, PS, NO TICKLING MY FEET. Unless you want to. If you do I’ll giggle!

I love to pet my puppies.. I will call them over to me by patting my tummy, then pet their heads, pull their fur, stroke their paws.. they are really soft and snuggly and I love them lots! It’s fun to watch them too – lots of times they will do something funny while I am watching and I’ll start giggling and make mom and dad wonder what I saw!

I think I love my momma the most, but I love daddy quite a bit too.. and don’t get to spend nearly as much time with him as momma. I got to spend the whole day with him yesterday though! We played together, played with the puppies, ate, napped, and daddy took about a zillion pictures.. here’s me laying on his chest (the black t-shirt is his.)

There is more to me than just my eyes. Like, my heart!

I’m really really hungry! Will you bring me my food??

It’s fun when I play alone, but even more fun when someone plays with me.. my favorite is why I jump as high as I can and you say “BOOM!” just as I hit the bottom.

Mom says it’s time to eat.. but I’m having too much fun playing! Do I *have* to stop? I guess I can come back..
