Daddy spilled some dough in the oven earlier tonight, so it’s been on a clean cycle to burn it off. It’s sending a smell of smoke throughout the whole house. Oakley remembers a time when daddy was making steak and smoked out the house, and set all the smoke alarms off, so the smell of smoke scares her. Poor puppy! She didn’t want to come back inside after going into the yard, and is staying as close as she can to daddy.
